The whole experience was good. The staff welcomed us and dealt with any requests in a timely and courteous manner. It was good to find that everything we needed was included - so many places now charge for everything they can, but we were able to get Beach towels, beach chairs & umbrellas and use the pools and hot tub and even the games room without the hassle of looking for small-change or buying tokens. The complex offered everything we needed for a relaxing end to our USA business visit. I particularly appreciated the easy & free access to the internet, which not only allowed me to connect with BA to check-in for my return flight, but to print the boarding passes as well. Very often it is the little touches that make the difference and these certainly did for us. Hassle-free holidays is definitely the way to go! Thanks to all for a good job. We will return.

We love Vacation Village!! It is so refreshing to take our children on vacation and see them smile the whole time we are there! It is so affordable too!! We have been staying at the hotel regularly for the last 4 years and it just gets better! I appreciate all of the staff. And most important is the opportunity to make so many memories with my children that will last a lifetime!!

I would like to take the time to explain how much it meant for me to have stayed at your hotel from Dec. 18th through the 24th. It was a difficult time for me. I was there for an unexpected funeral and was not in a festive mood. Upon my arrival I was offered a small (very clean) room and when I expressed my unhappiness with the size and wanted something a little more private and larger your staff offered me a room with a full view on the Ocean. I must tell you this made my time so special. I was able to reflect on the beautiful of the location and not on my situation. Your rooms are extremely comfortable. The new mattresses and cleanliness are a great additional to anyone\'s stay.

We stayed in a one bedroom in the Bahia wing .It was great for our needs--wedding and family and lots of room. The two bedroom in the same wing was for the bridal party and was great, lots of room, and with the kitchen really suited our needs. Our family so enjoyed the Reef rooms with the wonderful ocean views. We had looked at vacation village over a year ago for our daughter\'s wedding and had talked to Betsey then. It was a joy to deal with her again upon arrival. Check-in and checkout for all of our family and rooms was wonderful. I would like to compliment the desk staff for our visit from 12/27 to 1/2 for all of you help, as well as housekeeping. Front desk was great. Wish we had paid attention to all on duty as they were so polite and helpful. Coffee in the morning was a treat.

I've been coming to Laguna since I was a child, and the Beach House is one of my favorite restaurants. But I'd never been to the Vacation Village for the night, so this was our first visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The VV property is not a sprawling resort compound with high-tech security and people handing out towels and sprinting around carrying your bags. And that's a good thing. VV fits into the Laguna Beach environment about as well as a hotel could -- it's compact, convenient, equipped with just the right amount of amenities, and most importantly, it's very "beachy." This is tough to explain, but in a nutshell living by the beach is all about keeping it simple, and you guys manage to accomplish this, just like a true local. We'll definitely be back.

I have to say my stay has always been wonderful, but, this stay was beyond my wildest dreams. This was better than my first honeymoon, and we went on a cruise. We had the time of our lives. I cannot pick on person out of your staff, because, each and every one of them treated us like royalty. They respected our privacy, but were right on top of anything that we required or inquired about. They all had awesome attitues, always smiling, always in good moods. I cannot say enough about the staff that was there during our stay.

My room "#705", I consider this my room, was clean and just perfect. I don't ever stay in any other room than 705. And after the over 100 visits I have had to your town in the last 9 years, I have always enjoyed your hotel the best.

My family stayed recently at Vacation Village, as we have done fairly regularly over the last 20 years. I just wanted to let you know that I did notice a vast improvement in both the facilities and the courtesy of the staff.

Specifically, the girl at the front desk offered me a AAA discount - something I had not previously been aware existed. She was smiling and friendly whereas in the past I had found the staff to be somewhat offhand. It had a good feeling.

The new beds are so much more comfortable. After our last stay my husband and I commented that it would be our last as we both had very sore backs! When we received the email about the room renovations we decided to give it another try. The general decor of the rooms is also much more pleasant and everything seems cleaner and fresher.

Thanks so much for the improvements you have made. We look forward to many more years of visiting Vacation Village.
